Meet our leaders
Neil Herson
Neil Herson is a pioneer in the development of ASD Healthcare’s plasma and dialysis business, as well as its influenza vaccine distribution strategy. With two decades of experience in specialty pharmaceuticals, he leads the company’s strategic direction to ensure its continued growth. In addition, Mr. Herson shares his expertise with a variety of advocacy groups and serves as a board member at Bridge of Life – DaVita Medical Missions. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Matt Johnson
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Johnson joined ASD Healthcare in June 2012 as Chief Operating Officer after serving seven years as Vice President of Strategy at AmerisourceBergen Specialty Group. With a decade of experience in the specialty pharmaceutical business, his areas of expertise include strategic planning, informatics and technology. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Northwestern University, a master’s in mechanical engineering from California Institute of Technology and an MBA from Auburn University.

Shane Arledge
VP, Finance
Mr. Arledge began his career with AmerisourceBergen Specialty Group in 2003 as Assistant Corporate Controller and came to ASD Healthcare as Vice President, Finance in 2009. Since that time, he has used his diverse background to help set the company’s financial goals and initiatives. Before his ABSG career, Mr. Arledge held positions at Marconi Communications, Brinker International and KPMG. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of North Texas and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Chris Flori
VP, Business Innovation
Chris Flori brings advanced distribution solutions, like Cubixx® and myCubixx® to the healthcare market. Before beginning his career at ASD Healthcare in 2009, he held a similar position with PharMerica, formerly an AmerisourceBergen company, and Medco where he specialized in multi-site management, global consulting, operations and pharmacy integration. Mr. Flori graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in finance.

Michael Gelgor
VP, Operations
Michael serves as Vice President of Operations at ASD Healthcare and has been with the company since 1996. He brings more than 16 years of operations experience in the pharmaceutical distribution industry to ASD Healthcare. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business economics from the University of Witwatersrand, a master’s degree in accounting and auditing from the University of the Witwatersrand.
Devetta James
VP, Customer Operations
Since June 2006, Devetta James has played a key role at ASD Healthcare. In her current role as Vice President, Customer Operations, Ms. James ensures that ASD Healthcare functions in the most efficient, effective way possible to provide superior service to our customers and manufacturers. She brings almost 20 years of healthcare operations experience to her position and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Northwood University, plus a master’s in training and development from Amberton University.

William Venus
VP, Business Development Nephrology
William Venus brings more than 20 years of health care experience to his role overseeing the sales and marketing for ASD’s nephrology segment. In addition, William’s focus is developing manufacturer solutions for unique therapeutics and orphan drug launches. Formerly a VP of Bellco Health, which was acquired by ASD Healthcare in 2007, William’s experience includes group purchasing, business development at Spectra Renal Management, marketing and development at the Renal Research Institute, Fresenius Medical Care and professional sales at Amgen. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Scranton.
Liz Feldman
VP, Business Development & Trade Relations
Liz Feldman began her career at ASD Healthcare in 2006 and has been working in Business Development & Trade Relations for more than seven years. While she maintains overall responsibility for contract negotiations and product launches, her expertise in specialty product distribution and relationship building has made her a key point of contact between ASD Healthcare and our manufacturing partners. Her diverse background includes developing innovative solutions for key stakeholders, including manufacturers, as well as collaborating with our sister organizations and legal teams. Mrs. Feldman previously worked as a first grade teacher and holds a bachelor’s of science in education from the University of Texas in Austin.

Mike Least
VP, Sales
Mike Least has been in the healthcare industry for more than 30 years, with the past 12 focusing on oncology. Mike has held various roles and responsibilities in sales, sales leadership, marketing, medical affairs, training, account management, business development and executive leadership. He has worked for large premier manufacturers (Searle, Pfizer, Eisai, Johnson & Johnson), as well as entrepreneurial biotech companies. His extensive knowledge and expertise has resulted in consistent success, with a unique perspective of the U.S. specialty care market and the challenges facing manufacturers, specialty distributors, healthcare providers, healthcare systems and academic medical centers of excellence. Mike earned his bachelor of science in mathematics & statistics from Eastern Kentucky University.
