'Tis the Season for a Flu Shot

Influenza can be far more serious than most realize. In some cases, the flu can lead to hospitalization and even death. An annual influenza vaccination is the best way for patients to protect themselves and those around them against the virus. The CDC recommends that everyone six months and older receive an age-appropriate flu vaccine to reduce the risk of flu illness.¹ Encourage your patients to get vaccinated.
